If you want to see what the MSI contains, use Runtime Packager to generate an MSI. The contents can then be examined using the Microsoft orca.exe (Orca.exe (Windows)) which will give you a list of what the MSI deploys and it shoulod be easy to track down what's missing. Do you have a list of errors?
