No, PB does not support localized versions of the DDC. You could get localized versions of PB for some languages which would address this issue somewhat. However, there were not a lot of supported languages and dynamic language switching was never supported (ie: like we have in Canada where the application user can switch between French and English at any time).
FWIW: My STD Foundation classes implement their own calendar and support extensions to any number of languages. Maybe you need to think about building your own calendar for this purpose for the long run.
