Re: In PB7, Stored Procedure disabled when new column has been added

I didn't realize that you were still using PBDBMS in PowerBuilder 7.  You didn't need to, as 7 supported ref cursors as well.  FWIW, support for PBDBMS was dropped in PowerBuilder 8.

I'm also a bit confused.  In your original message you indicated:

Therefore, PB7 can't execute those Stored Procedure.  In the same situation, we confirmed the Stored Procedure in PB 12.5 is working correctly.

However, in your more recent message you indicated:

Currently, the customer is running PB7 with Oracle 11g. In case a new column is added to the table, the previous(Old) stored procedure using PBDBMS was working well , but the new stored procedure using reference cursor won't work and produces error.

Those statements are contradictory.  Which stored procedure are you having problem with after the column was added?

Also, I can't see anywhere where you have indicated the exact nature of the error message you are getting.  Knowing that would be highly useful in determining what the problem is.  If the error is ORA-04068 - "Existing state of packages has been discarded", then see my original response.  If it's something else, please indicate what it is.
