Re-reading the error message in the original post a bit more carefully, I agree and I think you are right, if Ridwan is starting a new project PB WEB Forms is unwise and down the "garden path".
In fact, or so I am told, there are so many choices if you go straight to JAVA. PowerBuilder seems to be very old-hat for significant new projects.
But for existing projects with a known and named user base Appeon might very well be the way to go browser.... or iPad etc.
And maybe promote myself from Loser to Less Fortunate.
