Hello,
I'm fairly new to PowerBuilder so I may be missing something simple here. The team I work with currently uses PB11 but we are getting ready to upgrade to PB12.5 Classic. In doing some testing with PB12.5 I noticed that when running on a Win7 PC with the theme set to the default windows 7 theme text boxes that should look lowered instead look flat and check boxes that we change from 3D to 2D to help show enabled vs disabled don't change from their 3D look. No matter what I do with the code it always looks this way. This only affects controls on datawindows. Controls on regular windows work just fine.
However, if on the same Win7 PC I switch the theme to Windows classic everything works as it should. We do not currently have this issue with PB11 on the same Win7 PC. Has anyone else run into a similar issue when migrating an application to PB12.5? I've checked all the properties and everything appears to be set correctly and I'm guessing they are because it works with a different Windows theme set. The only thing that I can think of is that I'm working with PBLs that were done in PB11 and then migrated to PB12.5 and we have not done a build yet so I'm just running from the PB12.5 application. Can anyone confirm if we need to do a PB12.5 build first to fix this display issue or not?
Thank you for your time,
JP
